Minutka is a UK-based remittance company focused on providing money transfers from the UK to Poland. Minutka supports all polish banks and lets you pay via a regular domestic UK bank wire to avoid high fees for international bank transfers. They offer three types of transfers: Standard, Express and “Minutka”. The standard one takes approximately 2 days, while “Minutka” transfer reaches its recipient within a few minutes. It’s also worth noting that the fee is flat, which might be an advantage for bigger transfers, but can turn out quite pricey for smaller payments.
For now, other destinations than Poland are not supported. However, thanks to the limited offer, they are able to provide very competitive prices for transfers between these two locations. They might not be the best on the market, however the platform offers just enough for someone looking to send money quickly and cheaply from the United Kingdom to Poland.
The platform is available only in Polish language, which might make it hard to use for other people.
After you register on their website, you can set up a cheap money transfer between the UK and Poland. All you have to do is send them a regular domestic free bank wire and they will take care of transferring this money overseas. That way you will pay less than for a regular international bank wire. Moreover, the money can reach the recipient within minutes instead of 3-5 business days as it is with banks.
The company also provides basic guides and information for Polish immigrants in the UK on how to handle the transfers and other financial activities while abroad. You can pay rent, bills, utilities or even pay off the loan in Poland while being in the UK via Minutka transfers.
There are 3 types of transfers on Minutka platform:
It’s worth noting that the fees are flat, which means no matter how much money you will send it always costs the same. It is a great advantage for greater sums, however makes it quite pricey for someone who needs to send regularly smaller amounts of money.
There is a margin added to the GBP to PLN exchange rates, however it is kept below 1%.
You can send only 1000GBP with the fastests transfer option “Minutka”. There is also a daily transfer limit of 100.000GBP. Depending on the amount of money you want to send you will be required to pass a certain amount of verification.
While banks and other remittance platforms support transfers to multiple countries, Minutka focuses only on one destination. However, their transfers to Poland are a bit cheaper than the offer from mainstream UK banks, which can be considered an advantage.

Minutka is part of the One Money Mail Ltd and is officially registered and authorized as an Electronic Money Institution by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) in the UK. It also complies with HMRC Money Laundering Regulations.
They also introduced a special electronic verification system to make it easier to verify users' identity without the need for sending scans of various personal documentation, as it’s usually required with online money transfers.
The majority of the customers’ negative feedback focuses on occasional delays and problems with the identity verification. However, a good amount of people send money regularly with them and don’t report any significant issues.
The customer service is available only on Polish language. You can contact them via a contact form on the website or call their local phone numbers depending on your location and character of the issue.
Minutka is a relatively small money transfer company and focuses only on sending money from the United Kingdom to Poland. However, thanks to the limited offer they are able to provide better rates than the majority of the competition, yet still there are cheaper alternatives if someone is looking for a regular way to send money to Poland. But for occasional payments Minutka can be just enough. Especially for bigger transfers, because of the flat fees, which makes huge transfers cost only a couple of pounds. The platform itself works well, but it’s design isn’t too encouraging and can be considered rather old-fashioned. The markup on the exchange rates isn’t that bad, as it’s kept under 1% compared to the mid-market rates.
