Information we collect

Email address and rate preferences

When you sign up for rate alerts, we collect the email address and rate preferences you provide. This data is stored in our database (hosted on Supabase) and is used only to send the alerts you requested at the frequency you chose.

Affiliate link click data

When you click a link to a lender partner, we log the click for internal analytics purposes. This includes the link destination, timestamp, and referring page. This data does not include personal identifiers.

Analytics data

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics platform that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across websites. Analytics data includes page views, referral sources, browser type, and device type in aggregate form. No individual user can be identified from this data.

Web performance data

We use Vercel Analytics to collect page load times, browser type, and other performance metrics. This data does not include personal identification.

Calculator inputs

Information you enter into calculator tools (loan amounts, rates, terms) stays in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers or any third party. Wirly does not collect, store, or have access to your calculator inputs.

How we use information

• Email addresses: To send rate alerts you requested, with the frequency you chose
• Click data: To understand which content is useful and to report to advertising partners in aggregate
• Analytics: To improve site performance and content

Information sharing

• We do not sell personal information
• When you click an affiliate link to a lender's website, that lender may collect information about your visit according to their own privacy policy
• We share aggregate (non-personal) click data with advertising partners
• We may disclose information if required by law

Third-party services

• Vercel: Website hosting. Vercel may collect standard server logs including IP addresses.
• Supabase: Database hosting for rate data, form submissions, and site content.
• Umami: Privacy-focused analytics. No cookies, no personal data, no cross-site tracking.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from rate alerts at any time using the link in any email. You can request deletion of your email and subscriber data by contacting us at [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

California residents

You have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

Colorado residents

Under the Colorado Privacy Act, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data, and to opt out of data processing for targeted advertising. Wirly does not process personal data for targeted advertising.

Data retention

• Subscriber data: Retained until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days
• Affiliate click data: Retained for 2 years for reporting purposes, then deleted
• Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymized, retained indefinitely

Cookies

Wirly does not use tracking cookies. Our analytics provider (Umami) is cookie-free. If third-party services embedded on the site set cookies, they are governed by those services' own privacy policies.

Security

Data is stored in encrypted databases. Wirly never collects Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or other sensitive financial data.
