What data we collect

Analytics data

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics platform, to understand how visitors use our site. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across websites. Analytics data includes page views, referral sources, browser type, and device type in aggregate form. No individual user can be identified from this data.

Form submissions

If you submit information through a form on our site (such as a rate alert signup), we collect the information you provide. This may include your email address and rate preferences. This data is stored in our database (hosted on Supabase) and is used only for the purpose you submitted it.

Affiliate click data

When you click a link to a lender partner, we log the click for internal analytics purposes. This includes the link destination, timestamp, and referring page. This data does not include personal identifiers.

Third-party services

Wirly uses the following third-party services:

• Vercel: Website hosting and deployment. Vercel may collect standard server logs including IP addresses. See Vercel’s privacy policy for details.
• Supabase:Database hosting for rate data, form submissions, and site content. Data is stored in Supabase’s managed PostgreSQL infrastructure.
• Umami: Privacy-focused analytics. No cookies, no personal data collection, no cross-site tracking.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your personal information to third parties
• We do not use advertising trackers or retargeting pixels
• We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or other sensitive financial data
• We do not share form submission data with lenders unless you explicitly click through to a lender and submit information on their site

Cookies

Wirly does not use tracking cookies. Our analytics provider (Umami) is cookie-free. If third-party services embedded on the site set cookies, they are governed by those services’ own privacy policies.

Data retention

Analytics data is retained in aggregate form indefinitely. Form submission data (such as email addresses for rate alerts) is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Affiliate click data is retained for internal reporting purposes.

Your rights

You may request deletion of any personal data we hold (such as an email address submitted through a form) by contacting us at our contact page. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
